Book an appointment using the NHS e
If you are unable to attend your appointment, or need to change it to a more convenient time, please let us know as soon as possible, as this will allow us to offer the appointment to someone else. The patient can also choose the date and time of their appointment. You can also use either of these services to change or cancel your appointment. If there are still no appointments available when you contact them, they will send a message to the Trust on your behalf, asking for us to contact you to arrange an appointment at your chosen hospital site, at a suitable date and time. If patients try to book their appointment on line, there will be a message advising them of the change-over and to try again as from Monday 15 th June. In most cases you have the legal right to choose the hospital or service you'd like to go to. Call charges from landlines and mobile networks may vary. This means that patients have far greater flexibility about fitting their treatment in geographically, or time-wise around their home or work commitments. What does Choose and Book mean for the patient? People aged 65 and over and people with long-term health conditions, including diabetes and kidney disease, are particularly at risk.
